what the hell is this about?

Several friends have embarked on their own P365 journey but as I have no camera nor an eye for photography I've decided to try to complete "a doodle a day" for an entire year. Most will be in my little Derwent A5 sketch book but some could end up being from the corner of some document or scribbled on a newspaper. As the year progresses I will try my hand at inking them as well?

If some of them don't make sense, don't worry, they're probably not meant to. You may notice there will be certain themes along the way and if you know me you'll know why.

I hope you enjoy.

Okay, here goes, every day til I'm 39.

Day #237 - CFH Trophy round 2

well it was the 2 round of the CFH Trophy today, I got lost getting there and that should have been the omen that I needed.

Glenmore Park Heritage threw out lovely conditions and nobody to hold us up and after the first hole I thought I was in with a shout but I self destructed (as normal).

it was ridiculously humid but the Captain prevailed so the first 2 names on the trophy are Hacker and the Captain and unless I learn to concentrate and put in a lot of practice it'll be one of them after round 3 too.

This one wasn't anywhere near the first round where we had a penalty putt out in the fading light to decide but the winner was well deserved, under the pressure on the 17th green he sunk a 20 footer to clinch it, only a wipe on the last (which he did) and a hole in one from Hacker (which he didn't) would have sent it the penalty spot again.

So, as a reward he gets a badly drawn portrait from my dehydrated sunburned self to commemorate his effort.

Well done Kerkie, congrats mate! a fun day all round and a pleasure to be a part of.
